Phélonise was born about 1881. She is the daughter of Joseph Cormier and Émilienne Léger. She married Maximin Cormier in 1902 at Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila, Botsford Parish, New Brunswick. We are told in the online histories that Phélonise (Félonise, Élisabeth) and Maximin had what looks like as many as 18 children, although not all survived childhood🕯
