Biography
Peleg was a Friend (Quaker)
Peleg Cornell was born on 9 Dec 1719 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts, the son of Thomas Cornell and Katharine Potter Cornell.[1][2][3][4]
He married Mary Russell, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Tucker) Russell.[5] They were married on January or March 13, 1739/1740.[5][6][4]
Many deeds of his, especially to his children, are recorded in Dartmouth, chiefly between 1768 and 1782. David, Joseph, Nathaniel and Holder moved to Albany Co., New York, where they settled first in Berne, and later in Rensselaerville.
He died about 1782, possibly in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts.
