Jeff Counter, my grandfather was born in 1877 in Kingston Township. His mother died young, so he was brought up by relatives. He attended University of Toronto (MB 1906 Medicine, Nu Sigma Nu). At age 38 he married Katherine Blanche Richardson, age 32 at St. James Anglican Church, Ingersoll, Ontario. They had 4 girls: Mary, Margaret, Hester and Janet. His medical practice was at 60 King St W, Ingersoll in an office which was added on to the Duke Street side of the house. I remember his portly look, decked out in a suit with a vest, his pocket watch and his grey spats. He is buried with Blanche at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery in the Richardson-Galliford Family Plot.
