Biography

Caroline M 'Carrie' Crabb was born September 9, 1862 and is the daughter of John Crabb and Nancy McGary. She grew up in Bellair, Iowa,[1] Sedgwick, Kansas[2] and Gypsum, Kansas[3] along with five siblings; Thomas Leslie Crabb, James Edward Crabb, Daniel Cornelius Crabb, Minnie Viola Crabb and Guy Willis Crabb.

Carrie married Abraham T Haines October 7, 1883[4] and they made their home in Sedgwick Township, Kansas[5][6][7] until her death in 1908. Together they raised two children, MInnie Ethel Haines and Vera Viola Haines. Carrie is buried in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.[8][9]
