Biography

Della was born Della Ann Crain on the 9th of September, 1881, at Carterville, Illinois, USA,^{[1][2][citation needed]} the daughter of William Blakemore Crain and Laura Ann Hedgecock Sprague.^{[3][citation needed]}

At 19, in 1900, she was living at Bainbridge, Williamson.^[4]

At 19, on the 1st of November, 1900, she married Arthur Elva Stover in Williamson, Illinois, and they had 4 children. ^[5]

At 29, in 1910, she was living in Carterville, Ward 2, Williamson, with Arthur (33), Evangeline (8), Agnes (5) and Mildred (3);^[6]

At 39, in 1920, she was living in Mesbury St, Carterville, with Arthur, Eva, Agnes, Pearl and Willie;^[7][8]

At 49, in 1930, she was living in Dobson Street, Carterville, with Arthur and a Patsy Ann Stover;^[9]

At 59, on the 1st of April, 1940, she was in a rented house in S Division Street, Carterville, living with Arthur (63), Reba Ridley (33), Patricia Stover (14), Claude Ridley Jr (14), and Jack Ridley (12).^[10]

At 81, on the 8th of June, 1963, she died at Carterville, and was buried in the Egyption Memorial Gardens, Herrin, Williamson, Illinois, USA.^[11]
