Alexander Crampton is a part of US Black heritage.
Alexander Crampton was born in 1831 in Maryland. He moved to New York state and married Jane E Randall. They had two sons and two daughters: Wilson, Frances, Mary, and William Alexander.
Jane either died c. 1866 or they separated.
He then married Mary E Bogardus c. 1866 in New York. She died in 1867 or 1869.
