Jean was born 16 November 1722 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay. She is the daughter of John Crandon and Jean Best.[1]
She married James Cellar (Seller or Saler) on 10 May 1740 in Plymouth.[2]
When James died in 1751, Jean and her brother Thomas Crandon were granted the administration of his estate.[3]James Seller's inventory was taken on 16 March 1752.[4]
She married her second husband Alexander Anderson on 22 February 1754 in Plymouth.[5]
She married her third husband Thomas Nye on 7 February 1767 in Dartmouth.[6]
In 1770, she, now Jane Nye and her brother Thomas Crandon presented an account of her late husband, James Sellar's estate which included debts paid, funeral costs, provisions for supporting the children, and administration fees.[7]
