George Washington Crawford, son of Henry and Susannah (Teel) Crawford, was born in 1834 in Sullivan County, New York.[1]
He married Ellen Myers.[1]
He married Louisa Harding, daughter of Harding and Nancy (Rosengrant) Harding, on 9 March 1871.[1]
He was a farmer when he and Louisa appeared on the census of 2 June 1880 at Tunkhannock, Wyoming, Pennsylvania. His sister-in-law, Permelia Ann, was living with them.[2]
George and Louisa did not have any children but George did have a son, Mark Pomeroy Crawford, with Louisa's sister, Permelia Ann (Harding) Rosengrant, in 1883.[1]
George died on 29 Dec. 1893 in a saw mill accident at East Lemon, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Dixon Cemetery, Tunkhannock, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. His memorial has photos, biographical material and links to those of family members.[1]
