[8]

A week later, the obituary was published:
THE LATE MR. A. CREASEY. --- There were many expressions of sympathy at the funeral at Ticehurst on Saturday of Mr. Albert (Sammy) Creasey, of Oak Villa, Wallcrouch, Wadhurst, who passed away last week at the age of 53. At one time Mr. Creasey was coachman at Ticehurst House, and after the War, when motor cars superseded carriages and pairs, he continued to work there as gardener. Mr. Creasey was very popular among his colleagues, and at the funeral the gardening staff from Ticehurst House attended to pay their last respects.
