Biography
When William Edward Cribb was born on February 25, 1881, in Clarendon, North Carolina, his father, Anthony, was 34 and his mother, Rebecca, was 21. He had three sons and 11 daughters with Priscilla "Silla" Cartrette between 1803 and 1923. He died on July 10, 1940, in his hometown, at the age of 59, and was buried there.
