Research Notes

• Charlotte's birth information is very confusing as she was born whilst her mother was still married to her first husband, Thomas Apps. She was registered as Lettie Apps on 2 Nov 1903, and then as Lettie Croker on 7 Jan 1904. However her family and headstone claim her birthday to be 14 Aug 1902. It is likely the family has the correct birthday, as she could not have been born on either of the 2 registration dates with her brother Arthur James being born on 4 Sep 1903. Her mother married Arthur James Wood a little over a month after her first husband died.Patroni-12 07:55, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
