Sinai Crutchfield was born June 25, 1827, in Chatham county, North Carolina, a daughter of William Crutchfield and Mary (Terry) Crutchfield. Sinai married Eli Buckner, son of Thomas Buckner. Children of Sinai and Eli are:

Sinai died December 3, 1913, in Chatham county, North Carolina[1] and is buried in the Buckner Cemetery in Siler City, Chatham county, NC[2]
