Hannah Cruttenden was born at Guilford, Connecticut Colony, in late March of 1678, a daughter of Isaac Cruttenden and Lydia (Thompson) Cruttenden (later, Meigs); she married Joseph Hotchkiss in 1699. Widowed in 1740, she survived Joseph by sixteen years, dying at Guilford in late March of 1756.
