PINKNEY, Doreen Muriel (née CUDDY) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Doreen after a prolonged and courageous battle with illness at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Thursday September 20, 2007 at the age of 91.

Loving mother of Sheila BANNISTER and her husband Don, and Lawrence (Janice). Both of Doreen's granddaughters, Victoria (of Vancouver), and Virginia (of Bowmanville) were able to spend time with her during her illness.

The many personal visits and phone calls during Doreen's stay at Trillium were greatly appreciated, and demonstrated the number of lives she had touched in her 91 years. Her love of both books and bridge was shared with many.

The family wishes to extend its thanks to numerous kind staff members of the WenLeigh and to the marvelous nurses on 3-Medicine. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (Hwy 10, N. of the Queen Elizabeth Way) on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday September 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. ^[1]
