Biography
Elizabeth Peck “Eliza” Cummings, daughter of Henry Grover Cummings and Mary L. (Peck) Cummings, was born on 5 July 1856 at Brooklyn, Poweshiek County, Iowa.[1]
She married John William Francis, son of James Lowery Francis and Margaret (Cochran) Francis, about 1875.[1]
She and John appeared on the census of 19 June 1900 at Warren, Poweshiek, Iowa.[2]
Elizabeth died in 1941 at Malcom, Poweshiek County, Iowa and was buried at Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery, Brooklyn, Poweshiek County, Iowa. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone links to those of family members.[1]
