Jane Cunningham was a daughter of Hugh Cunningham. It is not clear from source material whether she was a daughter of his first or second marriage. Her position in the Will, and her inheritance, implies she was from the first marriage.
If she married Canada Patterson in 1802 it seems probably she was born c. 1780.
Marriage
The Will of Hugh Cunningham, dated 1817, provides that her married name was Huffman.[1] She had married Anthony Huffman in Rowan County, North Carolina, on 27 May 1813.[2] A Jacob Huffman is noticed as the bondsman, likely the father of the groom. A copy of the Marriage Bond is available on Family Search.
