Mark was the son of Ernest Augustus Curran (d1911) and Lavinia Brooker (d 1883).
Mark worked in the meat industry as a master slaughterman at Glebe Island, [1] a buyer at Homebush cattleyards (1902) [2], sheep judge[3] and manager of the Burrangong Freezing Works[4][5] and Narrandara meatworks (1895). [6]
He died at Prospect Street Leichhardt on 11 October 1944.[7] He was buried in Rookwood Catholic Cemetery, Section M2 Row 9 Plot 5868. [8]
