Birth and Parents: Ruth Esther Currie was born on 01 August 1904 in Florida. She was the daughter of John Franklin Currie and Georgia Ann Kent. (See research notes)^[1][2]

1. She was married first to (Unknown) Miller.
2. Ruth Currie Miller and Ray Harold Mixson were married on or about 02 April 1927 in St. Johns County, Florida.^[3] They were the parents of at least one child, Ray Harold Mixson Jr., who passed away in 2017.

Death and Burial: Ruth Esther (Currie) Mixson passed away on 12 April 1972. She was buried in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia.^[6]

Research Notes

I think Ruth could be the daughter of John Franklin Currie (1839-1916) but I do not have proof positive. The census records when she was a child and other records when she was an adult seem to correspond as evidence but I don't have one record naming both her parents and her husband in the same record.
