Henry was born in 1890, the son of Charles Curtis and Annie Newth.[1]
He was killed in action on 14 November 1916 at the end stages of the Battle of the Somme[2] and was buried in the Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres, France.[3][4][5][6]
His death was registered in New Zealand in 1918.[7]
