Biography

Reginald Curtis Hayward (1879-1960) was the son of ArthurCecil Curtis-Hayward and Octavia Elizabeth Wade.
He Fell off wall and hit head as boy which was said to give rise to epilepsy.
He was educated at Rugby.
He was a solicitor 7 became Lord of the Manor of Quedgeley.
He inherited the Quedgeley estate from his uncle Lt.-Col. John Frederick Curtis-Hayward in 1923, after which he seems to have spent money fairly recklessly , mismanaged the estate selling land cheaply and the selling the house in 1941 to a housing association.
He died aged 82 in 1960 in the Chippenham registration district.
