Jennie Dabney is a part of US Black heritage.

In the 1880 census, Jennie (age 9 months) was the daughter of Benjamin Dabusy in Petersburg, Dinwiddie, Virginia, United States. ^[1]

Research Notes

The 1880 cenus reocrd used as Jennie's only source record was probably indexed incorrectly. The name should be Dabney not Dabusy. The image clearly shows she was 7/12 as an age, but Oct was given as the birth month. The census was taken on 5 June 1880. No other records clearly belong to Jennie. Searched in Familysearch and Ancestry with a 4 year window for her age using the name Dabney
