Ernest was born in 1883. He is the son of Lars Dahlström and Petronella Nilsdotter. Immigrated 1903. [1]

Married 27 Jun 1912 in Rock Island County, Illinois to Emma Charlotta Johnson ( b. 3 Aug 1876, Coal Valley, Ill., died 7 Jan 1942 , Moline, Ill) [2]

Children: Arnold H. Dahlstrom, b. 1916, and Lester Dahlstrom, b. est. 1913, married to Ivy (born 9 Feb 1916, died Feb 1993)
