Simon Dallman migrated from the Russian Empire to the United States.
Simon Dallman was a North Dakotan.
Simon was born in Bessarabia, Russian Empire in 1871.[1] At the age of seven he migrated with his parents and younger siblings to the United States.[2] In 1898 he married Dora Weber in Napoleon, North Dakota.[3] Simon's younger brother, Adolf, appears in the 1900 census with him and his young family.[4] Simon and Dora raised their family at their farm in Delger Township, Wells County, North Dakota[5][6][7][8][9] where he had an apple orchard. Simon passed away at the age of 87 at Harvey, North Dakota in 1958,[1] a mere year before his son Bill tragically passed away in 1959.
