Frederick Daniel, born in 1818 was an 1820 settler and emigrated with his parents and extended family in Turvey’s party on the George Osborn aged 1. He is often mistaken for his cousin Frederick Mitchley who was only born in 1823 due to confusing passenger lists.
Frederick passed away in 1877, Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South Africa.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships.
It is likely that these
autosomal DNA
test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Frederick:
Daniel-4880 and Daniel-2670 appear to represent the same person because: The Frederick listed age 1 on the Turvey party lists is often mistakenly listed as Ann Mitchley’s son whereas he is clearly Sampson Daniel’s son Frederick who is sometimes described as “not listed” on 1820 settler bios. Frederick Mitchley was born 1823 as his death notice and gravestone attest.
