Biography

Pieter Helgard van Rooyen was born about 1879. He is the son of Cornelis Dannhauser and Donna Catharina Jacomina Rademeyer. At age 23 he went first to the Standerton RC and then to Merbank RC where he was with his mother and nephews (sister's children). He and his mother left Merebank in Aug 1902 to return to Standerton but it seems they were seperated from his nephews who seem to have moved to the nearby Jacobs Crossing RC.
