1773 Birth and Parentage

Benjamin Darby was born about 1773 in Frederick co, MD. [1]

Benjamin was son of Josias, son of Josiah, son of Joseph. [1]

Marriage

He married Ruth McCracken, daughter of Thomas McCracken and Ruth. She was born January 21, 1788 in Union Co, SC, and died after 1870 in Panola Co, MS. [1]

Death

He died in Lauderdale Co, Alabama.[1]

Children

They had six children. Only two have been proven to be their children:[1]

  1. John D. Darby, b. Jan 18, 1815, South Carolina, d. July 12, 1903, Lauderdale Co, Alabama.
