John was born about 1833. He is the son of John Davenport and Orlina Smith.

NY, farmer), Charls Devenport (16, b. NY, farmer), Isaac G. Devenport (12, b. NY), Sally Ellsworth (26, b. NY), and Frances Ellsworth (female, 2. b. NY). An Egbert Doolittle lives a few households away, as does a Samuel Doolittle.

In 1855 a John Davenport (50, b. Ulster Co., NY, farmer, resident of Colesville for 24 years) headed a Colesville, NY (Broome County) household with wife Orlina Davenport (52, b.
