Biography
Emily was born in 1854.
She married Edwin Lambert, a widower in 1883.[1]
It appears for much of their marriage after the mid 1880's that Edwin lived on the Isle of Man operating hotels, boarding houses and restaurants until around 1904. There are suggestions the marriage became strained as Edwin publicised that he would no longer honour his wife's debts in 1903, shortly before he was declared bankrupt.
Emily migrated to Western Australia in 1908 with her children.[2]
By 1914 she was living in Welshpool, Western Australia.[3] Shortly after this, one of her sons stated on his AIF enlistment that his father's whereabouts were unknown.
She died in 1941,[4]
