Biography
Anne was born to Isaiah Davies and Anne Owens and her birth was registered[1][2]during the third quarter of 1851 in the district of Conway, Caernarfonshire, Wales, United Kingdom.
The April 1861 census[3]shows Anne residing with her family at St George's Hotel, Llandudno, Caernarfonshire.
The April 1871 census[4]shows Anne as a visitor to her brother Thomas Davies, who is residing as an Apprentice in the household of Thomas Williams, a Master Draper employing six men and six Milliners, and his wife Hannah Williams in High Street, Denbigh, Denbighshire, Wales.
Anne married[5]Thomas Jameson, who was eight years her elder, on 24 October 1877 in the parish of Llandudno. At the time of the ceremony Anne resided at The St. George Hotel, Llandudno and Thomas Jameson, a Financial Secretary, resided in Manchester, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom. Her father Isaiah Davies, was the Innkeeeper at St. George Hotel, Llandudno and her father in law William Jameson was noted as a Farmer.
The April 1881 census[6]shows Anne residing with her family in St. James Square, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.
At the time of her daughter Gwendoline Jameson's baptism[7]on 27 February 1884 at the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Bristol. At the time of the ceremony the family were residing at Lyndhurst, Somerville Road, St. Andrew's Park, Bristol.
At the time of her daughter Josephine Jameson''s baptism[8]on Valentine's Day, 14 February 1886 the family were continuing to reside in Somerville Road, Bristol and her husband Thomas Jameson is noted as the Secretary for the Young Mens Christian Association (YMCA).
The April 1891 census[9]shows Anne residing with her family in Oxford Street, Liverpool, Lancashire.
At the time of her son Norman Jameson's baptism[10]on Bonfire Night, 5 November 1891 at St. Andrew's Church, Liverpool. At the time of the ceremony the family were residing in Abercromby Terrace, Liverpool and her husband Thomas Jameson is noted as the Secretary for the YMCA.
The March 1901 census[11]shows Anne residing at[12]Plas Fron Deg, Church Walks, Llandudno.
The April 1911 census[13]shows Anne continuing to reside with her daughter Hilda Jameson in a fourteen roomed property at Plas Fron Deg, Church Walks, Llandudno.
Anne, a widow and late of Plas Fron Deg, Church Walks, Llandudno, passed away aged sixty five on 21 July 1916. Her passing was registered[14][15]during the third quarter of 1916 in the district of Conway. Anne was laid to rest[16] at St. Tudno's Churchyard, Llandudno. Anne's probate[17]was administered in Bangor, Caernarfonshire and was granted one month after her passing on 18 August 1916 detailing effects of £893 15s 0d to her son Norman Jameson, a Bookkeeper.
