Biography

Passage in the family records for Michelle Miller reads: "In 1650 Days left England, went to Germany because of Cromwell's arbitrary rule (outlawed Christmas, chess, fox hunting etc. In 1700 they came to Pennsylvania by slow boat passage, summoned by Quaker William Penn. As loyalists, they set out for Canada in 1784 and settled along Lake Erie. Joel Day was the first Canada born "Day": Feb 13, 1801." Joel and his wife Sarah Terwilligar are listed as GG Grandparents in the family records for Michelle Miller. Sources needed.
