Steuben County Historical Society. The County Historian has come up with an obituary for Andrew DeGraff who died August 28,1894.
The Historian has also given the probate contract which identifies Mary J as the wife of Andrew who died in August of 1894. It further identifies sons;
Edward
Isaac,
Andrew,
John and
Hiram
Along with daughter
Harriet Sarson (b. 1854) (Was a Snell)
Also mentioned was granddaughter May (or Maggie) Snell. (b. 1875) .
His old stone in Old Towlesville Cemetery states that he was born in 1810. Does any of this help , or does it only confuse things more?
