Biography

Allen Wilmot DeLong was born on 24 Jan 1864 in Wilmot, York County, New Brunswick, Canada, son of Benjamin DeLong (1819 - 1885) and Ruth Ann (Palmer) DeLong (~1827 - 1893).

His siblings were:

Allen (22) married Delana Francis McLean (20) (born in Wilmot on 12 Dec 1865; died in Wilmot on 9 Jul 1947), daughter of George McLean and Mary Jane McCready, on 30 Nov 1886 in Wilmot Parish, Carleton Co., NB, Canada. Their children were:

  1. Benjamin Franklin DeLong (1889 - 1974)
  2. Edgar Allen DeLong (1901 - 1968).

Allen died on 15 May 1915 in Wilmot aged 51. He is buried in Waterville United Baptist Cemetery, Lower Waterville, New Brunswick.[1]
