Henry DeMill was born on November 21, 1793 in Upham, Kings, New Brunswick, Canada, son of John DeMill (1757–1825) and Elizabeth Betts (1762–1819).

Henry died on May 28, 1866 in Upham, aged 72. He was buried in Saint Peters Anglican Church Cemetery, Upham, Kings County, New Brunswick.[1]
