Biography

Genealogically Defined

Sarah was born on the 10th December 1806[1] at Sandwich, Kent, England[2][3] and baptised on the 4th January 1807 at St. Peter, Sandwich, Kent, England, the daughter of John De Bock & Mary De Bock[1].

On the 5th August 1834, Sarah de Bock, spinster of St. Peter, Sandwich, married Joseph Long Porter, bachelor of St. Luke, Chelsea, Middlesex, at St. Peter, Sandwich, Kent, England. Witnessed by ? Burton & Eliza de Bock[4].

On the 8th August 1853, Sarah was a beneficiary of the will of of her uncle Thomas de Bock, gentleman of Sandwich, Kent[5].

Sarah died aged 62 years on the 6th September 1868 at Blythe Hill, Forest Hill, Kent, England[6].
