Biography
Oscar De Priest III is a part of US Black heritage.
Oscar Stanton De Priest III was born in 1928 in Chicago. He was the son of Oscar De Priest Jr and Malcoma Wilkes.[1] In 1930 he was living with his parents in Chicago.[2] His parents divorced soon afterwards (probably before 1935) and in 1940 Oscar was living with his maternal grandparents, Charles and Toria Wilkes.[3]
He died on 4 July 2003. His last known residence was Montgomery, Maryland.[4]
A Find A Grave memorial (no picture) indicates an interment at Arlington National Cemetery. However, the search engine at the Arlington Cemetery website does not find an Oscar De Priest. (His sons are retired military officers).
