Gertrude De Priest is a part of US Black heritage.
Gertrude De Priest was born about 1873 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Robert De Priest and his wife Anastasia. In 1880 the family was living in Salina, Kansas.[1]
In 1905, at 31, she was still living with her parents in Salina.[2] She is no longer with them in 1910.
