Biography
Owned estates Sjöö and Almarestäket as well as the tertial estates of Drosdow, Rochow and Gültzow in Pomerania. Born 15 Mar 1726. Died 7 Aug 1791 in Stockholm and was buried in the family grave in Veckholm.
Received the RSO (Knight of the Order of the Sword)13 Jan 1755 and KSO (Commander of the Order of the Sword) 21 Nov 1773.
Married first on 1748-12-04 at Stockholms castle to grevinnan Catharina Charlotta Taube, born 1723-04-05 in Stockholm, headmistress to the Crown Princess Lovisa Ulrika in 1744, died 1763-03-24 in Stockholm and buried in Veckholm church. She was the daughter of riksråd and överamiral friherre Edvard Didrik Taube af Odenkat, greve Taube, and Christina Maria Falkenberg af Trystorp. Married 2nd 1765-12-10 to friherrinnan Hedvig Eva Rålamb, who was born 1747-11-19, chief headmistress to Sofia Magdalena 1792-05-07. She died 1816-02-14 in Stockholm, the daughter of president friherre Claes Gustaf Rålamb, and friherrinnan Christina Sofia Sack.[1]
