"Martin De La See (1420 – 15 December 1494) was the son of Brian De La See, by Maud, daughter and heiress of John Monceaux. He married firstly Margaret Spencer, daughter and heiress of Christopher Spencer, by whom they had one daughter, Margaret. Margaret later married Sir Henry Boynton of Acklam, North Riding of Yorkshire. He married secondly Elizabeth, daughter of Philip Wentworth, Knight, of Nettlestead, Suffolk,[1] by Mary Clifford, daughter of John De Clifford. He married for the third time, before 20 November 1494, Margery."[2]
(Royal Ancestry) Sir Martin de la See died shortly before 15 Dec. 1494, and was buried in the choir in All Hallows, Barmston, Yorkshire.
And most likely his wife Elizabeth (Wentworth), who had died by the early 1480s, was also buried in the family parish church.
The Barmston parish church of the de la See family is known as All Saints (All Hallows) Church, located in Barmston, East Riding of Yorkshire. This is an ancient, still active church that was rebuilt in the 17th century. The parish register dates from 1571.
