Biography

"Lum" Dean married abt 1894-95, 2nd Sarah Sally Adams (b abt 188 in Georgia) about 1895. (No source).

C. Columbus Dean listed his date of birth as August 3, 1873 living in Tecumseh, Ozark, Mo, working as a farmer in the same place. He listed Callie Dean as his next of Ken. His physical description was Tall, slender build, blue eyes, light hair, and no physical scars or defects.

• On 3 January 1895, he married Sarah Caroline (Callie) Copeland in Sharp, Ozark County, Mo. The license was signed by B. M. Copelin, the Father of the said, Sarah C Copelin, and has given his assent to the said marriage. Married by B C Evans, Preacher of the Gospel at B M Copelin's house. Recorded by C. Clerk on 28 February 1895, at 10:30am. ^[1]

In 1880, Sam Dean's Mother, Mary was living with him during this Census. Along with his step daughter, Alice Davis, age 13.^[2]
