William Henry Dean was an Olympic athlete that competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics in Belgium.

William Henry Dean, child of John Henry Dean & Arabella Dean, was born on 6 February 1887 and baptized on 10 April 1887 at St Jude's church, Ancoats, Lancashire.^[1][2]

In the 1901 census William H Dean (age 14) was the son of John Henry Dean in Manchester, Lancashire.^[3]

In the 1911 census William Henry Dean (age 24), Electrician, was the married head of household in Hyde, Lancashire.^[4]

In the 1939 register William Hy Dean (age 52), Director Battery Service Station Cults Electrical E??, was the married head of household at 179., Hyde, Cheshire.^[5]

William died (age 62) on 2 May 1949, in Withington, Lancashire.^[6][7] William's estate passed probate on 17 August 1949 in London.^[8]
