Deavertown (originally called New Market) is a small town located in Ohio that is full of interesting folklore and rich history. The village was founded in 1810 by Levi Deaver and changed its name to Deavertown after its founder. Levi was born in 1782. He was the son of Abraham Deaver and Nancy Lakin. He passed away in 1863.
