Biography

Olivier was born in Grenville on 28 February 1854. He is the son of Jean Baptiste Demers and Elmire Gauthier. He was baptized 03 March and his godparents are Pierre Pichet and Domitille Malette.[1]

Research Notes

  • Did he followed his brothers in Wisconsin ?
    • In 1899, he could be in Eau Claire with his brother Joseph (Charles) at 612 Water street[2].
    • In 1900 census : a boarder at 417 Wisconsin street. Born in March 1854 in Canada and immigrated in 1875. Married for 10 years with May De Mars.[3]
    • He is not named in the photo of the 6 Demers brothers.
