Edgar Dennen was the son of Chandler Dennen and Emily (Soper) Dennen, with whom he was living at Livermore, Maine, in 1860 at the age of four.[1] In 1870, he was living with his father and stepmother at Livermore at the age of 14.[2] In 1900, he was living with his father and stepmother at Livermore, with his birth date shown as February 1856, his marital status as single, and his occupation as dry goods salesman.[3]
In the 1860 Census, his middle initial is shown as C and in the 1900 Census it is M. No initial is shown in the 1870 Census.
