Biography

Hannah Dent (married name Walton) was born around 1847 in Hunstanworth, Durham, England.^[1][2][3] Whilst her death certificate indicates she was the daughter of Elliot Dent and William Dent,^[4] she was actually the daughter of Mary Dent and granddaughter of Elliot and William.^[5]

She was four years old at the time of the 1851 England Census, living with Elliot and William.^[1]

She was married to John Walton.^[3] Their children were:

• Annie Elizabeth Walton (1868?–1959)^[3]
