Biography

Hugh Stanley Denton, son of Joseph and Julia (Olmstead) Denton, was born in Scotchtown,Queens County, New Brunswick, Canada on 17 July 1874.

He married Janet MacDonald. They had three sons:

  1. Allan Leslie, b. 1904, d. 1987; m. Margaraet Lobban
  2. Lawrence MacDonald, b. 1907; n, Dorothy Vren
  3. Cecil Hugh, b. 1916, d. 2009; m. Donna Clark

The family farmed in Queens County.

Hugh died in Scotchtown on 16 June 1956.

He is buried next to his wife and near many family members in the Scotchtown Cemetery. [1]
