Michel Desautels est né le 22 Fev 1778 à St-Mathieu de Beloeil, Quebec. Il était le fils de Joseph Desautels et Angelique Tetreau.
Le 25 Jul 1803 à St-Mathieu de Beloeil, il épousa Marie Louise Loisel, veuve de Pierre Brodeur dit Lavigne.
Il est décédé le 1 Jan 1851 à Marieville.
