I agree. Mother in Deweese-169 does have Mary as one of her names. The Dewees Family book, p. 48, does collaborate. Holmesburg is a valid Pennsylvania birthplace, it could be misspelled in other sources.
The final e in the family name seems to come from automatic importation entries. The Dewees Family book doesn't usually show it in this branch of the family, and discusses it's lack in the narrative.
Deweese-169 and Dewees-391 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth date and middle initial. Father's and siblings' names match what is in the Dewees family history cited in Dewees-391. I think the mother in Deweese-169 is incorrect; Dewees-391 has two sources for Mary Hart. Both spellings show up, but Dewees seems to predominate.
