James Deweese was born on November 9, 1883 in Van Buren, Tennessee, United States, son of Benjamin M. Deweese (1845–1904) and Margaret Jane Kirkland (1849–1900).[1]
James married Daisy Hillis (born on March 9, 1891 in Spencer, Van Buren; daughter of Elburn Hillis).
James died on October 26, 1936 in New Market, Madison, Alabama, United States, aged 52.[1]
