Edwin Dibblee was born on 23 Aug 1789 in New Brunswick, son of Walter Dibblee (1764 - 1817) and Hannah (Beardsley) Dibblee (1765 - 1830).

His sister was Sylvia (Dibblee) Bedell (1787 - 1838).

"Edwin married his 1st cousin Clarissa Margaret Beardsley (1796 - 1861) on 20 Oct 1813 in York County, New Brunswick. They lived at Northampton.

Their children were:"

Edwin died on 13 Feb 1868 aged 78. He was interred at the Woodstock Anglican Cemetery.^[1][2]
