John Arnold Dick was born in January 26, 1906 in Ponoka, Alberta,[1] the son of Henry S. Dick and Margaret Stewart.[2]
In the 1916 census, John (age 10) was at 41, 23, 4, Red Deer District, Alberta, Canada.[3]

On November 7, 1935 John married Emma Hazel Traxler in the Pentecostal Tabernacle at 10047 - 108 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. Witnesses were Margaret and Boyd Traxler, siblings of the bride. John gave his occupation as farmer although he had an Edmonton address and his religion as Baptist while the religion of the bride was given as Holiness Movement.[2]
John passed away December 21, 1973 in Quesnel, British Columbia.[1] He was buried in Westlawn Memorial Gardens, Edmonton.[4]
